Many of our Turtle Bay streets have been “decorated” with graffiti and trash, especially at the corner of 50th Street and 2nd Avenue. This has created an unsightly mess for our neighborhood, impacting both residents and businesses alike. Our businesses are fighting to stay afloat, yet these unappealing conditions make it even more difficult to attract customers.
Below are some key areas that the Turtle Bay Association is working to address.
On both March 17th and 18th, crews were dispatched to 50th and 2nd Avenue to power wash the area and remove the graffiti.

Next, we will be targeting our Turtle Bay trash cans for a cleanup, and to replace any missing cans.
Our neighborhood needs to be clean and safe for all of us to enjoy. Please help us to keep it that way.
If you “see something,” such as trash, graffiti, loitering, etc., “say something.” Call 311, email Keith Powers (kpowers@council.nyc.gov), contact Mayor de Blasio (www1.nyc.gov/office-of-the-mayor/mayor-contact.page).
PLEASE HELP US KEEP TURTLE BAY CLEAN AND SAFE!
Thank you.
