It's My Park Day 2022

Join Your Neighbors and Lend a Hand, It’s My Park Day

Saturday, Oct. 22,  10 AM to 1 PM, (rain date Sunday, 10/23), Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, E. 47th St. between 1st & 2nd Aves.

In autumn, thousands of volunteers across New York City join together to spruce up our public parks. In Dag  Plaza’s Katharine Hepburn Garden, we plant flower bulbs for spring bloom, clean,  rake leaves and enjoy the beauty of autumn. No experience necessary, tools and supplies provided. Kids over age-8 welcome.

PLEASE REGISTER: EMAIL YOUR CONTACT INFO (name and estimated arrival time) to fdhp@hammarskjoldplaza.org.

Report to  welcome table at garden gate behind park cafe. Early birds, OK to  show up at 9 AM. If weather is “iffy” check website for updates: www.dagplaza.org

OUR GOAL IS 15-20 PARTICIPANTS.

Please bring an unwrapped toy or gift as admission - they'll be donated to The Single Parent Resource Center.
