Did you know that The Turtle Bay Association is 66 Did you know that The Turtle Bay Association is 66 years old?

Yes, indeed! TBA was formed in 1957 in order to address the growing concerns about development and land use issues in the area of Manhattan known as Turtle Bay.

Today, as its purview has broadened, it works to have a voice in surrounding land use issues, so called reasonable development, that can preserve and enhance the unique built and open spaces of Turtle Bay.

It works to preserve and enhance quality of life issues that affect both the people who live and work in Turtle Bay. And it works to develop a large and active Membership in order to not only foster a meaningful sense of neighborhood, but create a strong voice in issues that come before city government and our elected officials.
