There is a new application period now open for the New York State COVID Rent Relief Extension Program. The program, whose application period opened December 18th and will run through February 1st, will provide eligible households with a one-time rental subsidy sent directly to your household’s landlord.

Please note that if you previously applied for COVID Rent Relief, you do not need to reapply. NYS Homes and Community Renewal will evaluate all previously denied applications based on their revised criteria.
