Another great group of volunteers joined us last F Another great group of volunteers joined us last Friday, June 13th at Peter Detmold Park! These 25 volunteers scraped and painted 26 park benches, and filled 15 garbage bags with leaves, ivy and branches - phew!! Check out the attached before and after photos.

There will be vendors selling arts & crafts, international foods, and unique gifts, all along Lexington Avenue from 42nd to 54th Streets. We really did have a great time cleaning up Peter We really did have a great time cleaning up Peter Detmold Park a couple weeks ago - and here are some photos to prove it! 

Thanks again to our amazing volunteers - including Tricia Shimamura, Manhattan Boro Commissioner of NYC Parks & Recreation, as well as State Representative Alex Bores, and NYC City Council candidates Faith Bondy and Virginia Maloney.
