The Turtle Bay Tree Fund is an all-volunteer organization whose mission is to enhance the Turtle Bay neighborhood with seasonal plantings and to maintain the trees, flower beds and enclosures with a program of pruning, watering, litter-removal, and replacement on a regularly scheduled basis.

The Tree Fund is one of the largest of this type of neighborhood organizations with responsibility for nearly 250 tree beds in the area from 48th to 51st Streets, from Third Avenue to the East River.

The Tree Fund is a tax-exempt association that raises funds from neighborhood residents and others who care about street trees. Virtually all of the money raised is paid out for professional landscaping services.
